Compliance Manager - Accountancy Practice - £65,000

This top-20 accountancy practice and consulting firm is looking for a Compliance Manager to come and join their Insurance advisory team. You will have one direct report to begin with and this company is continually growing so opportunities for development within the team are highly likely. You will be working with a number of this company's key clients and should be able to develop this area of the business as well. A permanent consultancy role offers you the variety and exposure of contract work, with the security of full-time, permanent employment.

The scope of the role will be to manage Insurance client requirements, advising clients on compliance requirements within Insurance. You must be confident to work with senior members of General Insurers (Intermediaries and Underwriters) and advise on any relevant regulatory issues. You will have exemplary knowledge of the FSA and general insurers handbook, in particular of GIBRKR - ICOBS, TC, PRU, SYSC, TCF.

The successful candidate will have proven compliance experience within Insurance and preferably a professional qualification such as CII, LLMIT. Knowledge of Solvency II regulations would be useful.
