A prestigious Private Banking and Asset Management house based in luxurious and modern offices in the City of London are recruiting for a Graduate-calibre Compliance Monitoring Officer. The role will pay circa £30,000 plus benefits, including a non-contributory pension, private medical and healthcare plus a discretionary bonus.

Reporting directly into the Head of Compliance you will carry out the daily monitoring of adherence to client investment restrictions, and maintain accurate investment restriction data on the system, whilst assisting the compliance department with all administrative duties.

You will ensure all errors and breaches identified are promptly reported and appropriate corrective action taken. You will assist Compliance Managers in the response to any reasonable request for information made by the FSA, SEC, FINMA or any other relevant regulatory authority. You will assist Compliance Managers in the establishment and maintenance of adequate arrangements for awareness and training. Develop and maintain a positive compliance culture through communication and monitoring regulatory responsibilities at all levels.

The ideal candidate will have some Compliance experience from an Asset Management, Private Banking or Hedge Fund environment. You will be of Graduate calibre and knowledge of FSA rules and regulations would be beneficial.
