Vacancy Description:
An Investment Bank have created a new role for a Trading Risk Manager focusing on the Base Metals and Precious Metals trading desks. This is a VP level role and would suit a Commodities focused Market Risk professional or a Trader looking to move into a risk-focused role.
This role will entail, amongst other duties and responsibilities, analysing the portfolio activities in direct interaction with global trading desks including risk and profit/loss analyses. You will also analyse back testing and stress testing of the internal model for market risk and participate in project work, e.g. participation in the roll out of a new internal model or front office system including testing, checking of results and support of system migrations.
Salary £90,000-£120,000 plus benefits. An ex-trading background would be advantageous but not essential. A strong background Base and Precious metals is assumed. CVs and enquiries to James Willacy at Austin Andrew.
