A fast-growing bank who have entered the market in recent years have created a new Internal Audit role based from their Reading office. With strong, innovative and award-winning products in both Retail Banking and Commercial Banking, this is an excellent long term opportunity for the right candidate.

In this role you will travel throughout the UK approximately 30%-40% of your time (mainly Manchester area and the South-East) and you will work closely with the Head of Internal Audit providing objective assurance to the Audit Committee. You will be involved in planning, scoping and delivering risk-based assignments, building strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout the business at all corporate levels.

The ideal candidate will have Internal Audit experience from within a bank or financial services business preferably with knowledge of SME sector products, retail mortgages and retail savings. Experience/knowledge of Asset Finance business and products would be an advantage. You must have either an accounting qualification or an Internal Audit qualification (IIA, for example).
