As a Statistics professional, you will have had experience from a Credit Risk or Collections function and your awareness of credit industry products and markets will be first rate.

You will support the successful value management of mortgage collections portfolios by solving complex business problems and providing practical value based solutions. You will develop insights that drive far-reaching recommendations and collections policy and strategies, with a strategic focus. The collections and recoveries team is central to shaping business strategy; at a bank where the importance placed on successful risk management is second to none.

From your previous work involving statistical analysis you will have gained an excellent comprehensive knowledge of SAS. You will be expected to lead the end-to-end process of major strategy changes including the analytical, design, implementation and tracking phases.

You'll have a degree (or equivalent) in a numerate discipline (Maths, Statistics, Operational Research or Physics and Engineering) and an awareness of credit industry products and market. However, if you have no degree, we will consider applications from candidates who have conducted a similar role for another financial services organisation, preferably within a credit risk or collections function.
