A full-service Financial Services firm based in Birmingham are recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor to join their high-performing team. This role sits within the Finance and Treasury Internal Audit team.

Undertaking technical audits across the Finance and Treasury functions of the organisation, the role will involve leading and performing independent reviews of the efficiency and effectiveness of controls across business processes, to report areas of deficiency and to make a significant positive contribution to the improvement of the internal controls.

You will need a strong background preferably as a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) having trained with a Big 4 accountancy firm or working with a large FS firm. Financial Services and Treasury experience will be an advantage but not a necessity. Candidates must have an up to date working knowledge of financial reporting standards and of current auditing techniques.
