REGULATORY RISK MANAGER, EMEA £80, 000 basic plus bonus

A very exciting job opportunity has arisen. On behalf of my client, a leading international Banking firm, I am looking for someone to fill the role of Regulatory Risk Manager, EMEA.

The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise in Basel II Pillar 1 reporting and be familiar with key Pillar 2 requirements. The candidate will have strong people skills, excellent presentation skills and key stake-holder management. They must also have experience of ICAAP, stress testing and regulatory processes.

Key responsibilities will include; encouraging the inclusion of risk and capital considerations in strategic business decisions; monitoring emerging regulations (such as Basel III); implementation of change across EMEA; managing the Capital Adequacy process across the region; and oversight of ICAAP standards. They will also be required to deputise for the Senior Risk Manager at Board Meetings as required. The successful candidate will have 3 managers reporting into them and 4 analysts.
