The Capital Markets and Trading arm of a Tier 1 Investment Bank are looking for an Internal Auditor join their Internal Audit function in a specialist Credit Risk role. Based in luxurious offices in the City, you will be joining a high-performing team and will have the opportunity to further your career in a Capital Markets environment.

This is a high-visibility role, with regular interaction with key players, including CRO for the Investment Bank, Chief Credit Officer, Global Head of Credit Risk and regional Heads of Credit Risk. This role has a global remit, however the travel element is low.

Responsibilities will include: Performing detailed audit test work (planning, executing and documenting test results) with minimal supervision. Maintaining relationships with and providing control related advice to business stakeholders. Establish a business climate and culture that encourages integrity, respect, excellence and innovation. It will be expected that the auditor develops a detailed understanding of the businesses units and products within their remit of responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience from Credit Risk in an Investment Banking / Markets environment. However, candidates from an Internal Audit background are encouraged to apply. The role will report into the Head of Credit Risk Internal Audit, but this is very much an autonomous role with a strong focus on independent work.
