A leading stockbrokers is looking for a Head of Internal Audit to join their London office. This is a very exciting role with a growing but stable company. There is the opportunity here to have a huge impact on the department and the company as a whole and you will gain broad exposure to the business.

The ideal candidate will be a professionally qualified accountant and have experience of working in a similarly regulated working environment. Big 4 background preferred but not essential. Investment Management knowledge will benefit your application. Ideally you will have a good understanding of Anti-Money Laundering regulations.

Your role will involve taking responsibility for the Internal Audit department, operating at board level, presenting to the Audit Committee and overseeing the other Internal Auditors in the team. You should have Internal Audit experience from the Financial Services Industry, preferably from broking. Good communication skills are essential as you will be dealing with senior management on a regular basis and will need to be able to confidently build effective working relationships with staff at all levels.

The role will pay circa £100,000 depending on experience.
