Vacancy Description:
A Global US Brokerage house have created an opportunity for an audit professional to join their Internal Controls function in Canary Wharf. Reporting directly into the Global Director of Internal Controls in New York, this is a great role with a growing company with a global network of 20 offices and 2000 staff worldwide.
This role will include being responsible for creating and updating narratives, flowcharts, performing walkthroughs, testing during the quarters, updating the control gap log report, documenting action plans and assisting processes owners on ways to improve their processes.
You will take ownership over SOX implementation. You will need to be able to build good working relationships with process owners and management, communicate effectively and be able to multi-task. This role will pay between £45,000 and £55,000 basic salary plus benefits. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (Big 4 background desirable) with SOX and Financial Services experience.
