Austin Andrew is currently recruiting for an Internal Auditor to join a newly created internal audit team based in West London. They have an excellent reputation within their sector and are growing rapidly via both organic growth and by acquisitions.

As this is a new audit function, we currently need a candidate who is confident to get involved with the development of working practices and reporting styles.

Reporting directly into the Head of Audit, the main purpose of the role is to provide a risk based internal audit service to the group. This is by identification of best practices and reviewing compliance with key controls in individual business units and cross group process reviews aimed at gaining assurance of effective control.

You will also contribute to the overall departmental planning process, and plan and execute individual reviews. You will discuss and agree findings and formulate an action plan, showing responsibilities and timescales.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent academic background and hold an auditing or accountancy qualification. You must be able to work with minimum supervision and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
