Assistant Manager, Forensic Technology - Big 4 - Apply Today
A Big 4 consulting business has an immediate need for an Assistant Manager to join the Forensic Technology practice. The team specialises in the forensic capture and analysis of electronic information. Typical cases involve the capture of data from both computers and networks, the analysis of which is used to support the litigation and investigation groups.
Responsibilities;
- Managing small projects including liaison with Clients and supervision of teams
- Developing processes and technical solutions
- Testing new software. Processing, analysing and delivery of electronic data and general assistance on a variety of tasks covering all areas of forensic technology work
- Extraction and processing unstructured data in order to load into web based review platforms
- Creation of user accounts for web-based review platforms
- Reviewing and resolving technical issue identified by clients on web-based review tools, this will involve reviewing client comments and trying to resolve issues, where possible, providing an explanation in a log/excel spreadsheet
- Preparing electronic data for delivery in various formats to assist clients in disclosure exercises; searchable PDFs, Multi-page TIFs, creation of a hyperlinked index
Suitable candidates are likely to hold;
- Strong MS Access skills and strong knowledge of SQL
- Good understanding of MS Office and MS Office file types
- Good understanding email format such as PSTs and NSFs
- Aptitude to learn new software technologies
