Senior Financial Auditor - Group Internal Audit

Our client is a FTSE 100 company and a market leader in their sector. They have a multi billion pound turnover and operate in over 40 countries across the globe.

We are currently looking for a Senior Financial Auditor to join their international team based in Cheshire. They are looking for a candidate who will make a real difference to the business, planning to make a move from Audit into the business after 18-24 months.

The main duties are to carry out risk assessments of operations, identifying financial and operational control weaknesses and formulating solutions to minimise or eliminate their impact. You will work with all levels of management to ensure sound system s of internal control are maintained and, where appropriate, business processes are improved.
You will be involved with key business projects, providing advise on new business initiatives. Other duties include conducting specialise investigations and manage external specialists on selected assignments.


The ideal candidate will have strong internal audit Internal Audit experience in Practice as well as a commercial company. Project management experience is essential, as well as a strong knowledge of integration software such as IDEA or ACL. As the role is within a global travel, there is a high amount of international travel - 60%.
