Our client is a FTSE 100 International Company, with operations in 39 countries across the globe and a turnover of over £6 billion. They are currently recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor to join their International team, based in the South East.

The main purpose of the role is to assist the Head of Internal Audit in providing an audit service to the group. You will review controls and management information in operational and financial areas in order to assess their adequacy. Main duties within the role are to plan, organise and conduct audit visits to achieve optimal coverage and evaluation of assigned areas at worldwide locations. You will ensure financial policies, systems and controls are applied in assigned areas, and that improvements are identified and pursued. You will also work closely with business management advising them through out on the effectiveness and development of their control information and procedures. You will prepare reports on findings to include recommendations on improved controls and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent academic background, as well as an accountancy qualification ( ACCA, ACA). Interpersonal skills are essential, in conjunction with strong analytical, communication and presentational skills. International travel is also 40% for this role.
