Austin Andrew is recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor to be based in Barcelona with a US Listed global company. They are a market leader with operations in over 50 countries worldwide and sales across all international markets.

Their international departments mission is to continuously add value by providing objective and innovative audit services that evaluate risk, control and governance processes. Main duties of the role are to conduct process reviews so as to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls over the business cycles. You will also conduct reviews to assess the accuracy of the financial statements and determine compliance with established finance policies and SOX Legislation.

You will also prepare reports based upon audit results, audit documentation and client responses and effectively communicate audit findings with management.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent academic background, within Finance or Business, as well as a professional audit or accounting qualification. (CPA , ACCA, CIA, CA). It is essential that the candidate has audit experience, ideally within a Big four or large "blue chip" corporation, preferably with process or operational experience. As well as fluent English, Portuguese, Dutch or Spanish languages would be highly desired. The successful candidate will be required to travel up to 75%
