Austin Andrew is currently recruiting for an Internal Audit Senior to join an international FMCG Company based in Barcelona. Our client is a US listed company, with operations across the globe and who are listed on the NYSE.

The main responsibly of the role is to continuously add value by providing objective and innovative audit services that evaluate risk, control and governance processes Main duties are to conduct business process reviews to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls over business cycles and to asses the efficiency and effectiveness of operations. You will also conduct reviews to asses the accuracy of financial statements and to determine compliance with established finance policies and SOX legislation. You will also prepare audit reports and communicate audit findings with management.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent academic background, as well as an audit or accountancy qualification. Big four audit experience is preferred, as is a good understanding of US GAAP, IFRS and SOX. As this is a global company, international is 60% of the time. Our client has a proven track record of promoting within the business and experience gained in their audit department.
