Vacancy Description:
Austin Andrew is currently recruiting for an Internal Auditor to join a FTSE 100 Company in Hertfordshire.
The main duty of the role is to undertake Internal Audit assignments to provide an independent appraisal of the adequacy and effectiveness of risk management and internal controls in financial and operational areas.
You will plan and carry out risk driven audit assignments under the guidance of an Internal Audit Senior Manager to ensure that clear objectives and scope are agreed prior to commencement of the audit. You will also be involved in pre and post implementation reviews and discuss audit findings with management, focusing particularly on areas of business risk, control weaknesses and operational efficiency enhancements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and hold either an audit or accountancy qualification (IIA, CIA, ACCA, ACA). Internal Audit experience is essential, either within a Top Tier Practice or within an International Company.
