Due to internal promotion, Austin Andrew is currently recruiting for an exceptional Senior Internal Auditor to join our client. Based in the South East, this role is seen as critical to the business strategy as part of the process to manage business risk. The role is hands on and you will be working directly alongside management on a day to day basis.

Main duties of the role include participating in the development of the annual audit plan, which is geared towards ensuring that internal controls are effective to minimise business risks. You will develop and tailor detailed audit plans and programmes, and carry out audit work in accordance with the plan, working individually or as part as of a small team. You will report findings into management and follow up issued audit reports to establish status of implementation of agreed recommendations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong audit and accountancy background, ideally from within Big Four Practice, and working with large commercial clients. Excellent report writing skills are essential, alongside strong presentational skills and a sound commercial acumen. This role requires a high amount of international travel across the globe, and so Spanish Language skills are essential. This position offers an opportunity to move into the business after 18-24 months.
