Austin Andrew is currently recruiting for an Internal Auditor to join an International FTSE 250 company based in Central London. Our client has operations across the globe and a £5bn turnover. This position has gives an opportunity to move into a Financial Controller position within the near future.

Reporting into the Head of Internal Audit, the purpose of the job is to review and report on the operational and financial control systems, to identify weaknesses and suggest improvements. Other main duties are to carry out the audits effectively and efficiently in accordance with the audit plan. You will also be required to prepare in-depth plans for audit of controls and procedures, as well as preparing working papers, supporting the conclusions, through to presenting findings to senior management.

You will also presenting the outcome of the work, setting out weaknesses in internal controls and will suggest effective improvements which will be followed up


The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and hold an Accountancy Qualification (ACA). Communication and presentational skills are essential in this position, as is the all round ability and ambition to progress within the business. This department is seen as a training ground for future senior financial management within the business.
