Austin Andrew is currently recruiting for an Internal Audit Manager to join an international company based in the South East. Our client is an international market leader and a FTSE 250 Company that offers operations across the globe.

Reporting into the Head of Internal Audit, the main responsibility is to assist in the development of the annual audit plan. You will execute the plan, including leading and managing the delivery of a range of agreed audit projects. Other duties are to assist in developing a risk - based audit approach, and to develop and maintain working practices in accordance to IIA Standards. You will also provide support, assistance and practical guidance to management on internal control matters. You will also need to carry out ad hoc assurance projects, such as investigations, when required.

The ideal candidate will hold an accountancy qualification and have strong internal audit experience, ideally managing an international audit team. International travel is 60-70%. Fraud risk assessment and computer assisted audit techniques experience is highly desired.
