A growing, financial services firm, based in Essex have created a role for an Operational Risk Manager to join their Audit and Risk function. This is an outstanding opportunity significantly add-value to a fast growing and niche financial services firm.

Your main challenge will be ensuring that required risk, governance and control processes are embedded and operating in all business activities and play a lead role in establishing a secure risk enabled foundation on which the business can grow in a risk aware manner.

It will be your responsibility to advise the business on all aspects of risk management, building effective relationships with Senior Management - articulating risks in a clear and consistent manner.

They are looking for individuals with a solid grounding in FSA regulation and someone that may have had exposure or a background in Fund Management or Fund Administration.

You will have strong risk reporting experience, ideally the ability to run training and risk workshops. A solid background in Financial Risk Management would enhance an application, as would strong VBA experience.
