A leading private equity firm who has recently open a new office in Belfast has an exciting opportunity for a fund accountant to join the business The role involves:

NAV and performance calculation across private equity funds
Primary contact for clients regarding their day to day queries
Taking ownership, compiling and analyzing financial information underlying the financial statements, including
Dealing with Management reporting and preparation of asset level
Oversee preparation of management accounts and supporting files, and review all work
produced by team.
Plan year-end audit including audit files and liaise with external auditors and clients.
Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS and/or UK GAAP.
Robustly challenge and suggest improvements to systems and procedures.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) from within the fund accounting world and a strong understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS.

The successful candidate will have experience within fund accounting/fund administration and ideally have completed or near completing ACA/ACCA/CIMA or other recognized accountancy qualification
