Austin Andrew is currently recruiting for an international Fortune 500 international company, within their European HQ, based in South West Ireland.
This is an excellent opportunity to join their Global Audit Team, carrying our internal audits across the group under the direction of the audit manager, verifying adequacy and effectiveness of controls in place. Where control weaknesses are identified, you will agree the factual accuracy of the findings and propose corrective actions.
Main responsibilities in the role are to deliver clearly documented audit work to the agreed timescale, quality and standard as measured by the Audit Manager. You will be involved in all stages of the audit lifecycle from planning to agreeing weaknesses and proposing actions to be followed up
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, strong relationship management skills and be a confident communicator. You must have an excellent academic record and ideally hold or be working towards an Audit or an Accountancy qualification. There is a high amount of international travel for this role.
