Vacancy Description:
A motor insurance firm based in Milton Keynes have an immediate requirement for an Information Security and Compliance Officer to join the Risk & Compliance function, reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer.
This firm is a not-for-profit organisation providing a charitable service to the UK motor industry - the firm is over 60 years old, employs over 300 people and is committed to Corporate Social Responsibility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying compliance risks and designing controls. Ensure all new initiatives, projects, products, processes and procedures and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements. Assist with the maintenance of the Information Security management system. Develop a company-wide Business Continuity Plan.
Candidates will have previous experience of working within a compliance and/or audit environment. Working knowledge of the Data Protection Act. Experience of Risk Management and Business Continuity Planning is preferable.
