A motor insurance firm based in Milton Keynes have an immediate requirement for an Internal Auditor reporting into the Internal Audit Manager. This is an excellent opportunity and may lead to internal roles in Risk, Compliance, Finance within the group. This role will pay £34,000 plus benefits.

This firm is a not-for-profit organisation providing a charitable service to the UK motor industry - the firm is over 60 years old, employs over 300 people and is committed to Corporate Social Responsibility.

Responsibilities will include:
Identifying areas of improvement and referring to ELTO (Employers Liability Tracing Office) Board in order that they may be properly communicated and addressed. Identifying ELTO risks and developing appropriate audit controls and monitor and reporting on the effectiveness of those controls. Producing confidential Executive reports as directed by the Audit Manager. Representing ELTO at internal and external stakeholder meetings.

The successful candidate will need to have the following:

Educated to degree level, or equivalent. In addition to this a diploma in the Chartered Institute of Insurance and / or Institute of Internal Auditors or equivalent. Awareness of topical governance, fraud, financial, legal and regulatory issues including FSA ICOBs and data protection. A thorough knowledge of Corporate Governance practices. The role will pay £34,000 plus benefits and will be based in Milton Keynes.
