A Global General Insurance firm based in the City of London are looking for a Graduate with Insurance experience to support their Risk Management function, initially on a six-month contract. Working under the the Chief Risk Officer and developing and implementing the Solvency II regulation, this is an exciting and unique role for a Grad in the London market.

Main responsibilities will include assisting the Chief Risk Officer and Risk Manager to implement Solvency II and other development projects. You will be working alongside the Risk Manager in creating, updating and maintaining the risk management manual. Supporting the Risk Manager to manage Risk Assessment regarding risk quantification techniques. Support the whole Compliance and Risk Management Department in routine tasks as necessary (e.g. report creation, incident reporting, Business Continuity Planning).

You will be responsible for the delivery of the Solvency II Project and will to a degree, 'Project Manage' the implementation.

You will have a relevant qualification in Risk Management, Business Studies or Actuarial Science. Previous internship or graduate training in a General Insurance company would be an advantage. Any progress towards the ACII qualification would be an advantage. Any practical Risk Management/Insurance projects would be a plus.
