Development Team

A fast-growing specialist life insurer based in Surrey has a newly created opportunity for a Compliance Consultant to work with their Compliance Development team. This firm are increasing headcount by 30% per annum and have a strong market share in a number of retail insurance markets, they also offer a very competitive benefits package.

In this position you would be assisting the rest of the team in maintaining and developing compliance reference material and work with the training function in order to develop the firm's compliance culture. You will be working with the marketing function and provide technical support on regulatory issues, making sure that all changes which are relevant to the company's business are adhered to. You must have a good knowledge of TCF principles and understand the regulatory risks that apply to the business practices.

Successful candidates will have proven experience in a similar role, preferably within in Insurance although candidates from other retail FS backgrounds will be considered. You must be very confident in your knowledge and understanding of the FSA handbook in order to succeed in this position.
