Austin Andrew is currently recruiting for an Internal Auditor to join an International Manufacturing company based in the Midlands. Out client is a market leading international brand with operations across Europe and North America.

Reporting into the Head of Internal Audit, the main duty is to provide an independent, professional review of all aspects of the Groups operations.

Other main accountabilities will be to contribute proactively to develop an agreed strategy for internal audit, ensuring that a high standard of internal controls is maintained. Also, to develop good working relationships with all staff within the Group and maintain credibility with senior management.

You will be expected to run an audit from the planning stage right through to writing the report and agreeing recommendations with the Managing Directors of various units.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, as well as an Accountancy Qualification, (ACA or ACCA). Good interpersonal skills are essential in conjunction with strong analytical, communications and presentational skills.
