Austin Andrew is looking to recruit an Internal Auditor to join a new audit team within FTSE 250 international company based in West London.

The position will report into the Head of Group Risk and Internal Audit and will cover all international locations, promoting corporate governance throughout the group. The role will include building and aligning a function in accordance with needs of the business, as well as building relationships with external service providers.

Other main duties with the role are to delivering against the strategic internal audit plan that supports the group in managing its business risks, including financial, operational and regulatory risks. You will also be responsible for promoting the effective management of internal controls through internal controls self assessment processes.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant, have both internal and external audit experience as well as manufacturing experience. You must be a strong communicator, be able to demonstrate innovation and process improvement in delivering internal audit services. International travel is 55-65% and German and Chinese language skills would be highly advantageous.
