Working out of superb offices this online media / leisure company have an outstanding opportunity for a candidate from a Tax background. This is an opportunity for the right candidate with strong technical skills to put a stamp on this area of the growing business.
Preparation of the Group's UK Corporation Tax returns
Working with external advisors to prepare UK R&D tax relief claims
Management of the Group's CFC position
Drafting responses to HMRC queries in respect of submitted computations
Training finance personnel to aid compliance with tax legislation and facilitate preparation of tax computations
Review of transfer pricing compliance and implementing additional documentation and procedures as necessary
Preparing and reporting of accurate tax numbers in a timely manner for internal forecasting purposes.
Preparation of UK quarterly payment on account calculations
Assisting International entities with the completion of the Corporation Tax compliance and reporting packs.
Ad hoc involvement in group re-structuring, M&A & Tax planning opportunities
Responding to ad hoc queries for business units
Review of commercial contracts for tax issues
Requirements for the role
The role would suit a qualified ACA / ACCA individual with strong accounting skills and a corporate tax background, gained within a top 10 practice or similar sized commercial organisation.
The candidate should demonstrate a good attention to detail, excellent communication skills, particularly with non-tax personnel, be proactive, with a high degree of drive and determination
