Austin Andrew are recruiting for an Internal Auditor to join an international FTSE 100 company who are the leaders in their sector and are in an excellent market position. Based in Central London, you will be reporting into the Head of Internal Audit and leading and managing reviews and audits across the EMEA region.

The aim of the identify areas of the business which are considered to be of high risk and importance to the group, recommend improvements to control and asses current practices against recommended best practice. You will also be required to enhance corporate discipline by monitoring compliance with Group and Regional Policies. As well as the audit plan, there will also be a number of ad-hoc assignments which may arise at short notice.

The preferred candidate will have considerable internal auditing experience, ideally within accountancy practice and a large blue chip company. An accountancy qualification would be advantageous. Good interpersonal and people management skills are essential in conjunction with strong analytical, communication and presentation skills. International travel is 50% and would cover Europe and North Africa. French language skills are essential for this role
