The main purpose of the role is conduct audit reviews of assigned organisational and functional activities in assigned areas to examine operations and the adequacy of the system of control to achieve established objectives. Key responsibilities within the role are to plan the theory and scope of the audit reviews including preliminary survey and assist the audit manager in the preparation of audit programmes. You will also assist in the performance of detailed audit planning of individual reviews including risk assessment, as well as evaluating a systems effectiveness through the application of a knowledge of business systems.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent academic background as well as a proven track record within internal audit. You must hold an auditing or accounting qualification and ideally internal audit experience within the oil sector.
