Austin Andrew are currently recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor to join an International Oil and Gas Company in Aberdeen. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the market leaders within the industry

The Internal Auditors are typically responsible for designing and delivering high quality audit work to provide assurance over the effectiveness of internal controls, from developing and delivering an approach to an assignment through to identifying control improvements and recommendations. They would also finalise audit reports with senior management in the business. You would also be responsible for leading and managing other internal auditors in the team.

The main responsibilities also include liaising with project, procurement and labor relations management to identify potential issues and ensure that requested audits are carried out on a timely manner.
Understand project management practices and identify areas for improvement to strengthen internal controls whenever relevant. You would also prepare comprehensive audit report detailing all findings, overcharges and incorrect billings for recovery whenever appropriate; and follow-up with project management

The ideal candidate will have strong internal audit experience within the oil and gas sector as well as strong management skills. You would also have strong experience within the oil and gas sector, ideally E&P.
