Austin Andrew is currently recruiting for an International Finance Manager to be based in the Dubai office for an international Fortune 500 Oil company. The role reports into Reporting Accounting Center Director and is responsible for 33 legal entities across 12 French speaking African Countries.
The main duty is to oversee and manage the day to day operations of and activities for 5 county accounting centers and all associated local finance tasks. You will ensure that internal control processes are in place and integrity of the financial data is of a high standard and meets French and US GAAP and SOX regulations.
Other main responsibilities include managing the country accounting center local teams on a daily basis, promoting training and development within the teams. You will also be responsible for all Country Accounting Center Accounts Payable activities, such as coding and approving workflow documents, AP workflow maintenance , processing and reviewing payment requests, corporate cards, vendor communications ad AP accruals.
The ideal candidate will have an accountancy qualification and a strong academic background. Strong finance experience is essential, including experience at a management level. French language skills are essential for the role. There will 50% international travel across the Middle East and African regions.
