Private Equity Assistant Accountant
£30,000 pa
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work for a leading outsourced Fund Administrator based in Central London. This is the chance for a motivated, part qualified Accountant to join a strong team with the opportunity to progress and grow within the company. This role is offered on a permanent basis with a salary of £30,000 pa.
Main duties within this role:
Knowledge of designated clients including understanding the key points of the LPA, Fee Agreements and SLA's
Knowledge of Client deliverables and early escalation of issues to Direct Report
Minimise risk to the client by following procedures and checklists
Prepare accounts to agreed internal deadlines to a standard acceptable for first review
Calculate and prepare Drawdown and Distribution notices in accordance with agreed internal deadlines for 1st review
Initiate payments and amendments to standing data with the data processing team
Help in Annual audit process
Perform weekly bank reconciliations on all client bank accounts

The ideal candidate for this role will have completed level 2 of ACCA or be at Professional Managerial level of CIMA. You should have strong Excel skills and experience of providing financial information for review. A knowledge of the industry would be desirable and a good academic background would be extremely beneficial.
